OK, so you should still have a laugh...

Difficult though it is, there is something to read into this; more than me insisting on taking a snap of my mates with a random copper.

Some things in life lead you to develop this "fuck it, let's do this" attitude. It is however a careful balance between "let's do something fun" and "lets do something stupid". So you're always going to be careful about that...

God, I sound like a right boring c*u*t. Taking a pic of a bobby on the beat is hardly sailing across the Atlantic on your tod or swimming the channel. And just for the record, although i'm not actually in the photo, clutching the bloke, I did instigate the event. He was a nice guy and we were out on Nick's (guy on the right) stag doooo.

Anyway this is all part of the package that you get given in your 'new life' and you do have to make sure that you grab it . You might be left (ok, in a hungover state) thinking...

"Electric word life it means forever and that's a mighty long time..."

Going up to that girl and just asking her out? Bullshitting in an interview about your experience? Jumping off that cliff into the lovely mediterranean water when you're holidaying on that stunning greek island? You have to realise when you've got bugger all to lose, or at least little to lose for the potential of a great experience or more importantly an iconic moment of excitment or hilarity on that night out with your mates.

As much as losing the person that you were, you also have the opportunity to create a 'new you' and you have to at least grab a bit of that and enjoy the fun that it has to offer....
